Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Sassy Mauve

This lipstick line by Revlon comes in 82 shades and different finishes – crème, matte, pearl and sheer. Its texture is moisturizing, creamy and smooth when applied on the lips. It has a sheer finish, it’s fragrance-free and lasts for hours. This is a great MLBB (My Lips But Better) lipstick shade. Though named Sassy ‘Mauve’, it doesn’t appear too mauve-y nor too dark on my lips, thus, has a pinkish mauve hue that’s perfect for everyday.

MAC Cosmetics Lustre Lipstick – Lustering

A berry-pink sheer lipstick with a wet/moist finish. This shade is best for people with fair/light skin tone like me as it looks natural rosy pink when applied on lips.

Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lippie Pop the Question

A hydrating ‘matte’ lippie? Why not?! This lipstick line from Happy Skin is ‘the bomb’. It glides on lips smoothly, plus the moisturizing formula will save your day especially if you have dry skin like me. The only downside of this though, to me, is that it smells like clay…sort of, but still, tolerable.

Maybelline Color Show Creamy Matte Lipcolor – Mysterious Mocha

Another moisturizing matte lipstick that I love. If you’re looking for a nude lipstick that has a brownish hue, this one’s right for you. This could be a dupe for Happy Skin’s Moisturizing Matte Lippie. One plus factor to this is its fragrance it smells like mocha!

Ever Bilena Advance Matte Lipstick – Toast New York

This one’s a deep brown lipstick shade with a burgundy hue when applied on the lips. This is the darkest and cheapest lipstick compared to the others, also a local Filipino drugstore brand. Just like the previous matte lipsticks that I’ve featured, this one’s not drying as well. Although, it does quite have a strong chocolate-y scent which I have a love-hate relationship with.

Dull & Blemished Skin Makeup— Neutral Brown Makeup Look

Since I am having hormonal acne right now, I thought of sharing a makeup look that’s great to sport during those days when we have dull and blemished skin.

As much as I want to go for a very simple natural makeup look, a neutral makeup could give a little light and life to our dull-looking skin.

My Tea Detox Experience with SkinnyMint

Getting fit and healthy could be hard especially if you have a busy lifestyle. Good thing there are diet plans like SkinnyMint’s 28-Day Ultimate Teatox (tea detox) Program that we can rely on.

I have been wanting to try detox diet because of its health claims. Aside from that, it’s a natural way of cleansing our body.

I have tried doing a plant-based detox before, but it was hard for me to stick to it since I had to prepare everything from scratch. Now, my new option is to try tea detox.

SkinnyMint, being one of the fastest growing and well-known health companies since 2013, was the best option to try.

Etude House Mascara Remover [Samples Review]

During Etude House’s Makeup Up and Away contest, I kind of went extra with my skin care shopping, because low key, I want to try my luck. HAHAHA.

Aside from getting an entry to the contest, Etude House gave out free product samples. They have varieties of products to choose from, but I only picked mascara removers because I thought that’s the most worth it.

I had five sample sized mascara removers, and I am now left with two.

I use this with a cotton pad. I pat it (don’t rub) on my eye lashes for around 5 seconds or more until all the product melts. Also, I shake the product before I pour it to my cotton pad.

I featured this on my night time skin care routine video. Click this if you want to see a demo.

It melts my waterproof mascara– Maybelline Hypercurl, with one application. This is an oil based product so it is naturally greasy after application, and I recommend you to cleanse with facial wash afterward.
