My Current Playlist/Favorite Songs – July 2017 | Kamille King

Who doesn’t love good music?

When you’re bored, listen to music.

When you’re sad, listen to music.

When you’re happy, listen to music.

When you’re jogging, listen to music.

When you need to relax, listen to music.

Music has been associated with a lot of different things. It’s also important to help us de-stress, focus, meditate, relax, and keep motivated.

After all, can you imagine life without melodies and harmonies?

Every year, different artists come up with their own types of music/song to offer us. From R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, Ballad, Pop- name it.

I like listening to r&b and hip-hop songs as it uplifts my mood. Every beat creates an impact to my soul. I came up with my own playlist to share with you my current jam.

Current Playlist Songs:

→ Aquaman by Jay Park
→ Bounce Back by Big Sean

Let me know in the comment section yours, and if you want to recommend some good music. I am always in search for good songs to listen to, and I’d love to hear from you.

BToB: Born to Beat (K-POP) Addiction

“Hana, dul, set. Born to beat! Annyeong-haseyo BToB imnida.”

Warning: This post contains extreme fangirl-ing.

Can we just take a few minutes and appreciate this Korean music group called BToB.

It has been weeks now since I have become so obsessed with this K-pop group, BTOB! Although “K-pop syndrome” isn’t something new in my country, Philippines –K-pop, and even K-drama have been highly loved by Filipino fans many years ago before I have discovered it. I also have friends who are Kpop and K-drama fanatics that have talked a lot about how much they adore Koreanovelas, Korean idols and such. However, it just had not gotten into my interest at that time. Not until one day, I stumbled upon BToB myself.

Reading articles online about each Born to Beat members, and the group escalated my desire to know more towards them, the music they make, and their dance moves. And guess what, that simple curiosity had grown into a serious obsession by the day. I have literally spent 24/7 watching videos about them on Youtube. Now, I cannot go a day without listening to their songs or without watching any of their performance videos even though I can barely understand the lyrics. I can’t even remember the last time I listened to an English song. Hahaha!

Well, what is not to like about them to begin with? Apart from being exceptionally charming, this group is a mixture of seven uniquely talented individuals. It’s fascinating how they just remain transparent to the Melody (what BToB call their fan club); how comfortable they are in being dorky and cute, yet still own the stage when they perform. I really think I have fallen to this group, especially with my biases- Yook Sung Jae, Peniel Shin and Lee Minhyuk. Lol. They are truly great entertainers and idols. I genuinely hope to be able to meet them some time in the future, and for Peniel to get cured from alopecia and grow his hair back soon (though bald or with hair suits him either way).

For now, I would settle on admiring them afar and be a follower. By far, I am really enjoying being one of their beloved Melodies. I can’t help but to get hooked on what they have to offer next, and to get interested in all things Korean (blaming BToB on this. Haha!). Fighting!
