Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Sassy Mauve

This lipstick line by Revlon comes in 82 shades and different finishes – crème, matte, pearl and sheer. Its texture is moisturizing, creamy and smooth when applied on the lips. It has a sheer finish, it’s fragrance-free and lasts for hours. This is a great MLBB (My Lips But Better) lipstick shade. Though named Sassy ‘Mauve’, it doesn’t appear too mauve-y nor too dark on my lips, thus, has a pinkish mauve hue that’s perfect for everyday.

MAC Cosmetics Lustre Lipstick – Lustering

A berry-pink sheer lipstick with a wet/moist finish. This shade is best for people with fair/light skin tone like me as it looks natural rosy pink when applied on lips.

Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lippie Pop the Question

A hydrating ‘matte’ lippie? Why not?! This lipstick line from Happy Skin is ‘the bomb’. It glides on lips smoothly, plus the moisturizing formula will save your day especially if you have dry skin like me. The only downside of this though, to me, is that it smells like clay…sort of, but still, tolerable.

Maybelline Color Show Creamy Matte Lipcolor – Mysterious Mocha

Another moisturizing matte lipstick that I love. If you’re looking for a nude lipstick that has a brownish hue, this one’s right for you. This could be a dupe for Happy Skin’s Moisturizing Matte Lippie. One plus factor to this is its fragrance it smells like mocha!

Ever Bilena Advance Matte Lipstick – Toast New York

This one’s a deep brown lipstick shade with a burgundy hue when applied on the lips. This is the darkest and cheapest lipstick compared to the others, also a local Filipino drugstore brand. Just like the previous matte lipsticks that I’ve featured, this one’s not drying as well. Although, it does quite have a strong chocolate-y scent which I have a love-hate relationship with.

Dull & Blemished Skin Makeup— Neutral Brown Makeup Look

Since I am having hormonal acne right now, I thought of sharing a makeup look that’s great to sport during those days when we have dull and blemished skin.

As much as I want to go for a very simple natural makeup look, a neutral makeup could give a little light and life to our dull-looking skin.

Our eyebrows are an important aspect of our face as it creates an impression, changes our appearance, and defines our feature.

According to Yahoo! Health, “Our brows holds a strong social significance for emotional expression as well as facial recognition.”

Today, I’m sharing with you three easy steps on how you can achieve that eyebrows-on-fleek that you can wear daily.

Here’s how I do it:

First, I create an outline following my brow’s natural shape from the middle to the end part (using L.A Girl Endless Semi-Permanent Eyebrow Liner). Then, I fill-in my eyebrows by making short dash-like strokes (to mimic my natural hairs). Lastly, I use an angled brush with my favorite eyebrow powder to define the shape of my brows, and to fill the sparse areas. Easy!

I was barefaced filming this video so please bare with my dark under-eye circles. 😜
